Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Perfect Stop (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you play. We built Perfect Stop to be playable without an account and without giving us your name, email, or any personal contact details.

Information we collect

The app uses a small number of trusted third‑party services to run gameplay, save progress, show ads, and improve the game:

Anonymous account & game data (Google Firebase). When you first open the app, Firebase Authentication assigns a random, anonymous identifier. It is not linked to your name or email. Your game progress — current round, best round, streaks, and leaderboard entries — is stored in Cloud Firestore under that anonymous identifier so it persists across sessions.
Advertising (Google AdMob). The app shows ads. We request non‑personalized ads only. AdMob may collect device information and a device identifier to deliver ads, cap how often they appear, and prevent fraud. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for cross‑app tracking, and the app does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt because it does not track you.
Analytics (Amplitude). We record gameplay events (for example: a round completed, a streak saved, an ad viewed) tied to a random analytics identifier so we can understand how the game is played and improve it. IP‑address collection is disabled, and this data is processed on Amplitude’s EU servers.
Local reminders (on your device). If you allow notifications, the app schedules a daily streak reminder locally on your device. No data is sent to us to do this, and you can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.

Information we do NOT collect

Your real name, email address, or phone number.
Your contacts, photos, or precise location.
Any data used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Children

Perfect Stop is rated 4+ and is a general‑audience reflex game. It is not directed at children under 13. Ads served in the app are non‑personalized and limited to a maximum of a “PG” content rating.

Data retention and deletion

Game and analytics data are tied to a random anonymous identifier, not to your identity. If you would like your associated game data deleted, email us at rorydcooke@gmail.com and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
